Train Your Dog with Positive Energy Dog Training

We enrolled our 3-year-old dog, Tracker, in Positive Energy K-9 Training for a month-long program to address anxiety and fear-based aggression. The experience exceeded our expectations.

One of the most valuable things Tiffani taught our family was how much Tracker’s breathing can reveal about his emotional state. Learning to recognize the difference between stress, excitement, and overstimulation completely changed how we transition him between activities and helped us better understand his behavior overall. We also received guidance and training on a new e-collar system. This helped us set Tracker up for success each time we worked more with him on his new skills.

What truly set this training apart was the personalized approach. Aside from dropping Tracker off at Tiffani’s home, all follow-up training sessions took place in our own home. This allowed us to work through real-world situations and everyday challenges in the environment where they actually occur.

I cannot speak highly enough about Tiffani’s communication. She sent us videos every few days, regularly checked in with questions as she got to know Tracker better, and always made herself available to educate us along the way. She has a remarkable ability to meet people where they are and explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand. At no point did we ever feel like we were wasting her time or asking too many questions.

The transformation in Tracker has been profound. We started with a 55-pound dog who would quite literally launch himself at the back door, throwing his entire body weight against it whenever it was time to go outside. Today, he calmly walks to the door, sits patiently, waits for it to open, and doesn’t move until he is given permission. Recently, we had family over for dinner, and Tracker spent most of the evening quietly resting on his cot while everyone gathered around the table. He was virtually invisible.

One thing Tiffani said early in the process has stayed with me: “Tracker’s world was becoming smaller because of the issues he was having.” That observation perfectly captured where Tracker was headed longterm…isolation and solitude. Thanks to Positive Energy K-9 Training, his world is opening back up again. He is more confident, more relaxed, and now capable of exploring (and enjoying!) life outside the confines of our home.

Our pup completed a three week course with Tiffani for resource guarding and low confidence (hiding inside a dog who pretended to be tough 😊). I loved that she was in the house with Tiffani and her dogs, that we were able to see her once a week to learn what she’d learned that week, and that Tiffani sent us videos of her in training and playing throughout. Tiffani also sent great training videos before our weekly visits so we’d be prepared and better able to absorb everything. I feel like Tiffani has a script she follows for every situation, but that she also tailors it slightly for every dog and their needs. She’s been super responsive to questions - before, during, and after training. We are super pleased with the results of the training and have been able to keep up with the training at home because of the resources Tiffani provides. I HIGHLY recommend Positive Energy!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Tiffani at Positive Energy Dog Training. We first found her after seeing an incredibly calm, well-trained dog at an outdoor restaurant and learning Tiffani was the trainer. That first impression absolutely held true.

When we contacted her, we shared our dog Lacey’s background—she was abused before being rescued and was extremely anxious. Tiffani listened carefully, showed deep empathy, and created a thoughtful, personalized training plan. Lacey spent four weeks training with her (timed with our travel), and the transformation was remarkable. Tiffani truly saw Lacey for who she was and who she could become.

Lacey came back more confident, secure, and capable of navigating the world. We were suddenly able to travel with her, take her to restaurants, and include her in everyday life. We continued working with Tiffani for boarding and follow-up support, and she was always generous with her time—helping us troubleshoot challenges and reminding us how to best support Lacey.

Later, when we moved outside the U.S., Lacey stayed with Tiffani while we got settled. Lacey's training foundation was so strong that we were able to build on it and train Lacey as a task-oriented service dog. When Lacey flew internationally for the first time, she handled the airport, airplane, and customs like a champion.

We’ve since recommended Tiffani to many friends and truly believe she’s an incredible trainer for any dog, no matter where you live. She builds trust first, listens to family goals, and gives dogs the structure they need to live their fullest lives. We honestly can’t imagine having a dog that wasn’t trained by Tiffani.

5 out of 5! We cannot recommend Tiffani enough! Before she worked with our Corgi-Aussie mix, Linus, he was reactive and aggressive around other dogs due to fear. His behavior was unpredictable, which made social situations stressful for him and us.

Tiffani provided a board and train program for Linus while we were out of town. When we returned, our lives had completely changed. With months of consistency, using the techniques that Tiffani taught us, we can now take Linus anywhere without anxiety. He loves joining us for meals on patios and behaves wonderfully at local breweries. We frequently walk him on a busy community trail. On walks, he encounters new people, dogs, bikes, scooters, etc. In these interactions, he’s now calm and well-mannered. He knows that he’s safe and doesn’t need to react out of fear.

Another major change is how comfortable Linus is in his crate. He used to dominate our bed, which impacted our sleep. Now he willingly goes into his crate in the evenings; we leave the door open for him to come and go as he pleases. We get more sleep. He’s more relaxed, and so are we!

We are also now confident walking him on a leash, comfortably relaxed, knowing that he will follow commands and behave well.
Thanks to training Linus with Tiffani, our family life is richer. We’re excited to travel with Linus and continue to give him new experiences, knowing he’s well-trained and under control.

We adopted a rescue puppy, so we reached out to Positive Energy Dog training because we also have a 2 year old son . When we first got brisket he was full of puppy energy and of course chewing on anything he could find. The day we dropped brisket off for training, Tiffany assessed him when we got there then told us he would do great. Within 20 minutes of leaving she had already sent us a video of brisket obeying commands like he’d been doing it his whole life. I was honestly surprised. At any time throughout training when we were wondering how he was doing, Tiffany was always amazing at responding and updating us. When we picked brisket up she made sure to spend a good bit of time with us before taking him home, she was great with making sure we understood everything she had taught him and showed us how he listened to each command . She even spent time with us letting us work the commands with him .
